Starting September 3, 2026, Suno limits how many tracks you can download per month. The limits apply to tracks you've already generated — not just new ones. If you have a library of tracks sitting in your account that you haven't downloaded, now is the time to get them out.
This guide covers how to do that efficiently using Suno's own built-in tools, without installing anything.
First: take a breath, don't panic
If you use Suno regularly and download tracks as you make them, you probably don't have a crisis here. The September 3 change matters most for people who've been generating and letting tracks pile up in their library without downloading.
Before you start bulk-downloading everything: go through your library and decide what's actually worth keeping. Not every generated track is worth the disk space, and you don't need to export your entire history to protect the things you care about.
What Suno's download limits actually are

If you have hundreds of untouched tracks in your library and you're on a free plan, you won't be able to get all of them out after September 3. You can get 7. That's the real situation.
How to use Suno's multi-select to download in batches
Suno has a built-in multi-select feature for downloading multiple tracks at once. This is the right way to do it — documented in Suno's own help center.
On Windows:
- Hold Ctrl and click individual tracks to select them one by one
- Or hold Shift and click a second track to select everything between your first click and that one
- Once you've selected what you want, right-click any highlighted track
- Choose Download All
On Mac:
- Hold Cmd instead of Ctrl — everything else is the same
Suno will download the selected tracks. There is no single button to export your entire library at once — there's no "download everything" option. If your library spans multiple pages, you'll need to work through it page by page using this method.
How to prioritize: what to download first
If you're on a plan with a lower cap and your library is large, you need to make choices. Here's how I'd think about it:
Download first:
- Tracks you've already used in projects or published anywhere
- Tracks you genuinely like and might use in the future
- Tracks with specific prompts or styles you'd want to recreate — note down the style tags too, not just the audio
Lower priority:
- Quick experiments you generated and immediately moved on from
- Early tests from when you were learning how the platform works
- Variations that are clearly weaker than the ones you already have
You know your library better than any guide can. Trust your judgment on what matters.
What NOT to do
Don't install browser extensions or third-party tools that ask for your Suno login credentials. Several tools have appeared that promise to bulk-download your entire Suno library automatically. The ones that require you to enter your email and password, or install a browser extension with access to your account, are asking for more trust than they've earned. You're giving a third party access to your account to solve a time-limited problem. That's not a good trade.
Suno's own multi-select feature can handle this without needing anything external. It's slower, yes. But it doesn't put your account at risk.
After the backup
Once you've downloaded the tracks you want to keep:
- Keep them in a clear folder structure — by date, project, or style. "Suno exports" dumped in one folder gets hard to navigate fast.
- If a track is something you want to release, run it through a mastering check before it goes anywhere. Downloaded AI tracks usually need loudness correction and a True Peak check before upload to a distributor.
- If you have the prompts that generated your best tracks — write them down or keep a text file alongside the audio. The audio alone is recoverable; the creative direction that got you there is worth keeping too.
The short version
Suno download limits start September 3. Go through your library now, decide what's worth keeping, and use Suno's built-in Ctrl/Cmd+click multi-select → right-click → Download All to get them out. Work page by page — there's no single-click "export everything." Don't install third-party tools that need your account credentials to do this.
After September 3: Free gets 7 total, Pro gets 20/month, Premier gets 60/month.
