I typed the same prompt into Treblo and Suno, pressed generate on both, downloaded the files, and ran them through audio analysis. Then I listened on the same speakers.
If you want a quick answer: Suno currently sounds better to my ear. Treblo is completely free. Neither answer tells the full story.
The test
Same style tags on both platforms. Two generations each — I wanted to see how consistent each generator is with itself, not just one lucky render. The files came back as WAV at 192kHz/16-bit from both platforms.
I ran each through loudness analysis: integrated LUFS, True Peak, LRA (dynamic range). Here is exactly what came back:

These are real numbers from real files — not estimates.
What the numbers mean
Loudness: Suno exported hotter than Treblo. Spotify typically targets -14 LUFS, so Suno take 1 at -13.6 is slightly over — it will get turned down by the platform. Treblo came in at -15.6 on both tracks, which is already within the Spotify/Apple Music target range. Less correction needed.
True Peak: One Treblo track came out at -2.2 dBTP — close to 0. When streaming platforms encode WAV to AAC or MP3, intersample peaks can push above the ceiling and cause distortion in the encoded file. A True Peak limiter pass before upload is advisable for that file. The other three files were in safe territory.
Dynamic range (LRA): The most surprising result. Both Suno tracks came in at 5.4–5.7 LU — typical for AI generators, which tend to apply significant internal compression. Treblo take 1 measured 12.1 LU. That is close to double — quieter quiet sections, louder loud sections, less processed overall. Treblo take 2 was 4.9 LU, similar to Suno.
So Treblo can produce output with considerably more dynamic range. In mastering terms, more headroom, less pre-processed compression. That's theoretically a good thing.
What I actually heard
The numbers told one story. My ears told another.
Suno sounded better to me. More alive, more modern. The arrangement felt more considered — something in the layering, the way the instruments sit together. It felt like a finished track. Treblo's output was more variable: one generation was genuinely interesting; the other felt flat in ways the measurements didn't fully predict.
I can't tell you exactly why — whether it's a model maturity gap, something in how Treblo's Melodia v3 handles the specific genre, or just the nature of how generative models work at this stage. What I can say is that Suno currently tends to produce output that sounds more polished to my ear, on the style I tested.
That may change. Treblo is actively developing the model, and the gap between AI generators has been closing faster than most people expected. But right now, if you care primarily about how the music sounds — Suno typically has an edge.
The cost difference
This is where the comparison shifts.
Treblo is free. No daily cap, no account required to generate, no subscription tier for personal use. Their paid plans are API access for developers building products — a regular user making music never sees a paywall. You can generate as many tracks as you want at no cost.
Suno gives roughly 300 songs per month on the free tier. For commercial use — uploading to streaming platforms and monetizing — Suno's terms typically require a paid subscription ($10/month Pro, $30/month Premier, as of mid-2026). Policies can change, so worth checking the current Suno terms before making decisions based on this.
Treblo's Terms of Service (Section 8, as of June 2026 — again, check the current version) assigns output rights to the creator, and explicitly states that the platform's commercial restrictions apply to the service itself, not to the music you generate. That's a meaningful distinction for anyone thinking about releasing AI music commercially.
When to use which
Suno tends to work better when:
- Sound quality is the priority from the first generation
- You need consistent, polished output across multiple takes
- You're making a track you want to sound finished quickly
- You're on the paid tier and commercial rights are covered
Treblo may work better when:
- You want to experiment freely without worrying about a credit counter
- You're generating reference material, demos, or variations to test ideas
- You want to explore a large number of style combinations before committing
- The free commercial license (per current Section 8 terms) matters for your use case
Both need mastering before streaming
Neither platform produces audio that's upload-ready as-is. Suno typically exports hot and needs loudness reduction. Treblo may need a True Peak limiter pass, depending on the generation. Both benefit from checking LUFS and True Peak before upload.
